What We Do
Our Operations
Disciplined upstream operations across the Niger Delta's most prolific basin.
Our Approach
Our Business Model
Bronze Heritage operates an “acquire and exploit” model focused on mature and late-life upstream assets in the Niger Delta. We target assets where production has declined due to underinvestment, operator deprioritisation, or portfolio rationalisation — not because the underlying resource base is exhausted. Our approach combines deep Niger Delta subsurface expertise with lean operational execution. We deploy proven production optimisation techniques — including artificial lift systems, well interventions, workovers, infill drilling, and reservoir pressure maintenance — to arrest decline curves and restore production. Our cost structure is designed for mature-asset economics: lower overheads, faster decision-making, and fit-for-purpose operations.
Acquire
Target mature assets via M&A, licensing rounds, farm-ins
Appraise
Subsurface evaluation and risk assessment
Develop
Fit-for-purpose field development planning
Produce
Efficient production with lean operations
Optimise
Continuous improvement and gas commercialization
Expertise
Technical Capabilities
Geology & Geophysics
Our team has hands-on experience in vintage seismic reinterpretation using modern processing techniques (Ocean Bottom Cable data), 2D/3D seismic integration, AVO and seismic attribute analysis, prospect generation, and field development planning for regulatory submission.
Drilling & Well Engineering
Our Managing Director brings over three decades of drilling experience, culminating in his role as Managing Director of NNPC EnServ Ltd. — Nigeria’s national drilling services enterprise. Our COO brings operator-level well planning and Pre-Drilling Data Package (PDDP) preparation from the NPDC/FHN OML 26 Joint Venture.
Production Engineering
Our team’s production engineering track record includes the most significant documented production recovery in NPDC’s recent history — a turnaround from 87,000 to 155,000 bopd under our MD’s leadership as War Room Commander. Our COO brings 25 years of Well and Reservoir Management practice at Shell SPDC and FHN, covering gaslift optimisation, artificial lift management, well surveillance, and workover candidate generation.
Reservoir Management
Our team’s reservoir capabilities span petrophysical log analysis, static and dynamic reservoir modelling, core data analysis (RCAL/SCAL), STOIIP/GIIP estimation, reserves stewardship, and Annual Reports of Petroleum Resources (ARPRs). Our CTO has conducted reservoir characterisation and numerical simulation across multiple Niger Delta OMLs, while our COO brings practical Well and Reservoir Management experience from Shell’s WRM framework.
Production Facilities
Through our partnership with ARCO Group PLC, Bronze Heritage has access to 45 years of continuous Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and maintenance engineering capability in the Nigerian oil and gas sector. ARCO Group’s capabilities span the full lifecycle of production facilities — from FEED and EPC through facilities operations, rotating equipment maintenance, asset integrity management, brownfield modification, and decommissioning.
Logistics & Supply Chain
ARCO Marine & Oilfield Services Ltd, a subsidiary of ARCO Group, serves as Bronze Heritage’s primary logistics partner. ARCO Marine operates a modern fleet of crew boats, utility vessels, and barges, and has over four decades of experience supporting exploration and production operations in the Niger Delta’s most demanding swamp and nearshore environments.
Collaboration
Our Strategic Partners
